Gold is used to upgrade Generals and its use extends to rapid enhancement of military and defensive capabilities. This includes boosting general stats and reviving them quickly if defeated in battle.

1. Ranger Knight Order

The "Ranger Knight Order" in "Evony: The King's Return" represents a structured event where players manage their Knight Orders to complete tasks.

Players dispatch their Knight Order to finish daily tasks, with each task requiring a certain amount of time to complete. Rewards can be claimed after each task's completion.

The level of Knight Order can be increased by upgrading Keep. A higher Knight Order level yields better tasks and, consequently, better rewards.

Tasks are categorized by quality—green, blue, purple, and orange. Players can refresh tasks that haven't been started to potentially receive higher-quality ones.

They can earn Task Refresh Tokens by reaching certain daily activity points​.

2. Star Goddess’ Box

The "Star Goddess' Box" event allows players to obtain in-game rewards through a system of boxes that can be unlocked using Star Keys.

During the event, players can use Star Keys to open three types of boxes: Solar Box, Lunar Box, and Star Box. Each box contains a specific set of rewards, including items like special effects, decoration for Babylon Castle, Civilization Scroll Chests, and unique generals.

Star Keys are essential for participating in the event and can be acquired primarily through the purchase of in-game event packs. Besides offering the keys, these packs provide additional items like Blood of Ares, Gems, and various resource chests.

The prize pool for the items in the boxes is shared across the server, with a limited stock for each item. Once all items from a box are claimed, the box goes into cooldown before reopening, and the last player to claim an item from the box receives an additional hidden reward. This mechanic adds a layer of competition and urgency to the event, as early participation can lead to better rewards.

Any Star Keys left unused by the end of the event are automatically converted into Antique Chests. Hence, it ensures that players receive some form of compensation for their investment even if they do not use all their keys during the active event period.

3. Undead Invasion

The Undead Invasion is a weekly event where players defend against 20 waves of undead armies. Success in each wave requires eliminating at least 50% of the attacking undead troops.

The event is typically activated by a rank 4 or 5 member of the alliance and occurs every weekend. Participation is crucial as the performance of the entire alliance impacts the rewards distributed among its members. Not participating or failing early in the event can reduce the reward possibility for the alliance.

During the event, players can teleport to strategic locations such as snowy mountains to delay the arrival of undead waves, allowing well-prepared players to handle more waves. This approach can maximize both individual and alliance scores by reinforcing from optimal locations after their waves are completed.

Successfully defending against waves contributes to alliance scores and offers individual rewards (gems, speed-ups, and alliance points).

4. Adventure Arena

The "Adventure Arena" event allows players to engage in daily challenges and improve their rankings by selecting from five opponents.

Players can challenge selected opponents. Successful challenges against higher-ranked opponents allow the player to swap ranks, enhancing their position in the leaderboard.

Each player receives five free challenge attempts daily. Additional attempts can be purchased with gems.

Rewards are distributed daily based on rankings, and there are also rewards sent via mail at the event's conclusion.

Rankings reset at the start of each round, necessitating continuous participation to maintain or improve standings.

5. Crazy Eggs

The "Crazy Eggs" is a recurring event that allows players to smash eggs for in-game rewards.

Players need hammers to smash the eggs, which can be acquired through gameplay activities like killing monsters or purchasing from the store. Each egg requires a different number of hammers to crack, ranging from 3 to 12. Players need to smash each egg at least twice to activate it. The total number of hammers needed to activate all eggs at least once is estimated to be around 58.

There are four main types of eggs, each offering different potential rewards. For instance, for Gems, players need to focus on the Minamoto no Yoshitsune egg, which requires the most hammers.

Once all eggs are activated, players receive additional bonus rewards. It's beneficial to save up hammers to try to activate all eggs simultaneously to maximize rewards.
